GX260 error codes

Question

Ive got a GX260 and i think the hard drive is toast. On the back plane systems lights it shows the following:

A:Green
B:Green
C:Green
D:Red

Can anyone let me know where to look for these codes?

strick F1 to retry boot, F2 for setup utility thats it.

Note that they are listed in reverse order and the error is a generic one that really tells you nothing. What is the system doing exactly so that we have some idea of where to point you to fix this.

Unplug the system and open the case. reseat the connections to the drive for the power connection and data connection. Then trace the data cable to the mother board and reseat this connection too. Boot the system to BIOS and make sure that it is set to auto detect and that the drive is recognized properly here. Then try to boot to windows.

I called Dell support Canada, they are replaceing the drive.
