GX300 Driver Problem
I recently reformatted my hard drive (Win 2000) and I'm getting a Yellow ! under:
! other devices
!PCI Device
I do have another error with a promise technology ultra66 ide controller card but even after I remove the card, the above error still exists.
I've tried loading the 820 chipset driver but apparently I already have the right one installed. Can anyone offer any assistance?

Sometimes the motherbaord PCI bus is not supported by a newer OS and Dell didn't bother to update the BIOS or create a driver that supports the proprietary Intel chipset to accommodate. I have upgraded many computers and this unknown PCI device is common- especially on Gateways. If all of yor current devices work I wouldn't concern myself with trying to find a driver.
