Help! Com1 port doesn't work
After purchasing my Dell Dimension more than a year ago, I am trying to use COM1 for the first time. I purchased a SONY camcorder with PC functions and am trying to get the camcorder to 'talk' to my PC. I keep getting a message saying that the device is not connected, when using the software provided by Sony.
How do I get COM1 or some other serial port to come to life?
