~ I cant even partition the drive. It wont allow me to get that far on the screen. Whenever i try to get there, i always get stopped by when it says 'Windows cant detect a hard drive, press F3 to exit" then after that it reboots. As far as Bios, it detects the HD on the Raid part, 250G HD slot 0 (i think its slot 0, not to familiar on how Raid is set up, im old school). Hope this info helps

I have the same exact rig as you. I run it normal not raid. I think option 3 its to delete the partition. That's what I do. I delete the partition then create a new one. And everything installs fine. I usually download all the latest drivers from dell, ati and creative. And what ever other peripheral I have installed on my comp and burn it onto a CD.

If your DELL system had/has the DELL restore Partition, you can restore your system to factory settings.

Restart the PC and press Ctrl+F11 when the blue bar appears at the top of the screen.

If you do not see the blue bar, read the folloing website on how to do this fix this or manually reinstall your factory image: http://www.goodells.net/dellrestore/index.htm All the programs needed are somewhere on the site.
