help me connect -- ethernet problems
After having to restore computer using quick start disks, I can no longer connect to the internet. Under network adapters a BCM 4412 10/100 Ethernet Network Adapter is listed, but shows that driver is missing. I have tried getting it form the resource disk and other sources but I not having any success. Please help.

If you are using the Dimension 2400 integrated NIC [Network], you need the Broadcom 4401 Integrated NIC driver, that can be downloaded from HERE
The Drivers need be installed in the correct order, see HERE.

We need to know the operating system and model computer to answer. Also what you mean by quick start disks.

The computer is a Dell Dimension 2400. The disks used were the disk which came with the computer containing XP operating system, Dell resource CD, etc.
