Hey, I fixed something

This is too good not to share. I received a call today from a person who was having problems running a training program on his home PC (It could have been a work loaner). He had a friend install the training course, yesterday and it worked just fine. Now today it wouldn't run. After about 15 minutes of trying this and trying that, I traced the problem to his CD-ROM drive and asked him to try a different CD. Nope the drive couldn't read this one either. Then he thought to ask, "They do go in printed side down, don't they?"

Next time you fell that there is so much you don't know and so much to learn, remember this poor guy. We all had to start somewhere.

That is a good one. Imagine what someone like Bill Gates thinks when we don't understand our computer problems ;)

Hmmm.I wonder if this could be a clue as to why everything's upside down on my display...?

Hey no cheaps shots at this guy. I can remember when I didn't even know what a CD-ROM was. At least this guy has computer problems that just about anyone can solve. Its a lot easier for him to get help then it is for us to get help right?
