IALMRNT5 LOOP

Question

I have  a Dimension 2400 [several really ] running with an intel 82845G/GL/GE  series adapter latest ver running is 4.13.01.3442 . This one particular machine is causing me great problems.     This box wants to STOP over night and post a dump error with this verbose message .. ' a problem has been detect and Windows has shut down yadi yadi yadi... ialmrnt5 .... driver is in a loop'   and the the machine  proceeds to create  a memory dump.   The machine is hung untill rebooted. This machine has run with no issues until recently and I think the driver is current.   Any ideas?   Should I just dump the onboard video and replace it with another video adapter?   Any ideas? davidclark@davidclark.org

Sounds like you need to reinstall the driver, more  of a software issue than hardware.

Done that. Uninstalled it then reinstalled the new driver.
