Incompatibility with SMS Remote Control

I called Dell support about a problem we identified on our Dell GX260s. As soon as we install the Microsoft SMS client with Remote Control, the Intel Graphics Technology application quits working. The help desk person told me that they knew of the problem, and were in contact with Intel. I have been waiting several months now, and thought it was time to check back on this problem. I called tech support, and they said look on the web site. However, I can find nothing on the web site, nor any mention of the problem in the knowledge base, and I am wasting a lot of time searching. Can anyone tell me if there is a fix for this problem, yet?

Thanks!

I tested a Beta driver that fixes the problem.  I was told Dell will post the driver after they perform testing.

droid256, Where can we find this beta file?  We have the exact same problem and would like to test to see if it will resolve our problem too.  Thanks in advance.

I didn't realize this thread was still alive. Dell now has the patch on their web site. Look under Vide Drivers for an Optiplex GX260 and select the IGFX 845 drivers. We have been using them now without incident.

Best regards.

Thanks for the quick reply.  I went to Dell's web site but did not find the specific driver you mentioned.  The computers we are having the problems with are the Optiplex GX-110.  But the problem is the same.

I have this same problem.

Where are the Drivers that are mentioned above?

I have tried all the new drivers that are on the Dell site now and they do not help.

Any ideas on what driver or file I should try?
