pooylla,

You can uninstall Incredimail by following these directions here. You may also want to install Spybot and Ad-aware to keep unwanted spyware off your pc. Be sure to read about Spybot and Ad-aware before using. The 2 programs work great together. Post back if you need help.

pooylla,

I don't know what happened to the link, I recon the sever must be down because it was working. However you can go here for uninstall directions. From what i have seen in the forums this program is a pain in the blank to uninstall. Be sure that you go back to my first post and download Spybot and Ad-aware. These programs can save you a lot of problems from spyware entering your pc and causing a mess.

pooylla,

Sorry if I haven't been much help. All I can recommend is downloading the product again then installing and trying to uninstall the product if you choose to do so. The links on both posts that I stated before are working now if you choose to uninstall. You can try this here also to delete the program. It would be safe to backup the registry before deleting the incredimail subkey.

I can't get IncrediMail out of my computer either.  I got the "Invalid INSTALL.LOG file" error message, so I decided to use System Restore to go back a couple of days when everything was running ok and see if a new beginning would do the trick.  I shut down, waited a bit, and started over from scratch.  Tried to remove INC and got the same error messge.  Went the "new install" ICM and then "remove INC" route, but the program is still there.   I was trying to avoid that lengthy uninstall where I have to do some registry editing, but since nothing else works I'll have to bite the bullet and follow your uninstall directions.  The word "registry" sort of alarms this newbie to the PC world.  (Expert Mac user, brand new Dell/XP user)
