Windows XP, and an ATI Radeon 9200SE--though it says in the logfile that it's the Intel 82845G(which is disabled).

I'm having the same problem I have a GeForce 5200 on a WinXP...the game im running is CoH and it worked perfectly this morn and when I logged on this afternoon it froze and took me to the warning page.

It says the corrupted file is nv4_disp

Well, it did happen when I tried to play any games, though also when online and such.

Though I assumed yesterday after I did a system restore that it was the same thing happening--it only happened once yesterday, and it just went to a black screen, so I figured it was the same and restarted. It was actually slightly different and I haven't had the infinite loop error message since before the system restore. Now the screen flickers, goes to black, or locks up, and just today I tried to run a game (to see if it would do the same as before) and it went to the desktop and had an error report for ATI, though I can't recall what it said exactly.

lets see I did the restore (back to the 16th), reinstalled the drivers did the directions for replacing dell/nvidia drivers with nvidia drivers...I dont understand the only thing I did was the windows update this morn and played the game directly after that and it ran fine when I logged into the game in the afternoon thats when it froze and I got the warning (blue screen w/text). The internet is fine it runs everthing normally and my son has the same Dell and it runs the game no freezing or lag???

Just a moment ago I was running an application and it crashed to the desktop (which looked all messed up, vertical lines) and a dialog box came up which said, "The ati2dvag display driver stopped working normally. Save your work and reboot..." etc. and I did. When it started back up and I got to the desktop it suddenly froze and went to the blue error screen which stated "The driver for the display device got stuck in an infinite loop" as it did before. I shut down and restarted the computer yet again and a dialog came up to send an error report. I did so and it said, "An unknown error occurred in ATI Graphics Driver, created by ATI Technologies, Inc." and suggesting to update the driver (I did so the first time this happened, but it didn't help). Another dialog box came up to send an error report. This one said, "An unknown error occurred in Video Driver, created by Dell Inc." and suggested the same (to update the driver).

Obviously I have no idea what's causing this, but I do find it very curious why it's both video cards? I didn't use a driver cleaner when I installed the ATI video card, and I probably should have but I didn't know that 8 months ago. Surely that wouldn't cause this problem though?

exactly the same things with my card and its factory installed by Dell so I dont think not running a driver cleaner would make a difference (maybe Dell does this don't know), but like you said your card is 8 months old and mine is at least 2 yrs old and this just started happening?
