Initial setup failure GX270

bought a barebones GX270 and installed new Harddrive & memory.  went through Bios setup utility & confirmed all was recognized. I've installed 4-1GB sticks that show in "Memory" Bios but when I leave Utility setup I get this message: "OS Install Mode Enabled.  Amount of available memory Limited to 256 MB".  Then when I select "F1 to continue" I get this message: "INF file txt setup.sif is corrupt or missing, status 47872.  Setup cannot continue, Press any key to exit."  Feel there's a simple answer to this?
