Installing a second Operating System

I have Dimension 4100 with Windows 98 SE in the master drive of 10GB. I just installed a new 30GB as a slave drive. Is it possible to install Windows 2000 on the new slave drive without having to touch the master drive? Or do I have to partition the master drive 50/50 and install Windows 98/Windows 2000 respectively?

It's a long time since I did the Windows 2000 course but if I remember right you don't have to partition anything (unless you are going for NTFS). The install program should recognise 98SE is installed, then give you the opportunity to create a dual boot machine. You can then load Win2000 on any drive or location.
