Installing MSWORKS

I copied some .WPS files from my old PC and tried to open them. They weren't recognizable by EXCEL or WORD so tried to install MSWORKS from the CD.

I made it through setup until it was unable to find SHARE.EXE

I copied it from the old PC and reran SETUP (5 times). Each time I got an immediate error message "Unable to locate ACMSETUP"

Anyone know what's up and how to migrate these text files (with or without WORKS)?

Jim, old versions of works need to see share.exe to install, but not to run under win95/98. Open notepad and do a save as share.exe in c:\windows, then run the works install again.
