That's the advantage of ordering a Dell. You wouldn't have to worry about such things.

Yeah, thanks for advice, you got alot of experience whit overclocking?

Like, you think I could keep the cpu for long if I just clock it to 2.6?

 yeah, a lil overclocking:D

Just have to wait till the shop get the 92x92mm fans I ordered:D

But, I was wondering, is it possible to get the ram to 3200 speed? a guy mentioned it, but..?

yeah it's possible.  No guarantee though.  It's kinda the luck of the draw, you might get a great stick or a dud.  You could always relax the memory timings a bit to get more Mhz out of it.   Check out the forums at overclockers.com for info on how to do this.

looks good to me CsH.    That's a real nice board and great memory.  Looks like you're planning on overclocking,  am I right?   You should be able to hit 3.06ghz no problem.   Try that with a Dell.

good luck!

Just ordered an Abit BH7.      I'd keep the vcore as low as possible, definitely under 1.7.  See how high you can get at stock settings then push the voltage a little.  And keep an eye on your temps.

havent OC'd much yet with my current CPU.   I got it with an Intel brand board so you can't overclock much.  I should get my BH7 this week and some Kingston Hyper-x memory so I'll probably have a little fun testing this setup later this week.    I'll let yah now how I do.

I've only done some mild overclocking myself.  But I just ordered a better motherboard and memory so I'm gonna have a little fun.  I've been reading up on the subject alot lately.   You can definitely run your CPU at 2.6 and not worry about significantly shorter CPU lifespan.  I think you start to run into problems when you increase the voltage too much.   Besides I'm only hoping to get 1 or 2 years out of my CPU.  By then it'll be horribly outdated.
