LGA 771 Processor options
I have a Dell Precision 490 Workstation. I want to know if i can install 5400 series Intel Xeons in it. They are LGA 771 which is what my mobo uses. On the Dell spec sheet for it, it mentions it using 5100 and 5300 series xeons. It doesn't mention 5200 or 5400 series xeons. I want to know if i could slap a pair of E5450s in my workstation. Thanks.
