Logic Behind Pre-Loaded Software
After fighting, screaming, almost having a stroke to get a new hard drive under my Extended Warranty. I was "given" a new 4100 with 80gb hard drive and other goodies (hardware wise) plus $300.00 to spend at Dell. HOWEVER, It is loaded with business software!!! Duh, I'm blonde but even I would know to check the kinds of software on the previous machine instead of just pulling one off the shelf and sending it. I'm completely disabled, what use is business software to me?
Then I was told by email that I was being difficult because the software on my 2 year old Dell (which finally has it's 2nd new hard drive) was 3 years old. Excuse me! It was built to specs which stated the NEWEST verisons of all software were to be installed. When I got it ALL the software had to be updated the day I connected everything and went online.
I'm keeping both towers until I get the software I'm suppose to have. If I don't there is always Small Claims Court. They now have Michael Dell so insulated and protected from customers that he's not even allowed to see mail or faxes sent to him for at least 10 days if then. I guess they only show him the "good" ones.
