Memory Errors

I have a Dimension 8300 with 1 GB of RAM. I've had these error messages for awhile, but they're starting to get quite annoying. They only occur at random and while I exit Internet Explorer after surfing for awhile. Sometimes the error will coincide with the Acrobat Reader and other times it will be the IEBuddy.exe, but it will always list it as a memory error with the memory address listed. Would you recommend downloading a memory error utility off the net or something else?

My computer is completely secure on the firewall side. I have Adawre and Spybot and run them once a week. I run the virus scan once a week also.

Chances are, you have malware.

Is Windows updated with all current critical updates?

Do you have current, real-time antivirus and firewall protection?

Have you scanned for and removed all spyware?

If the answer to any of the above is no, it's past time for a thorough security sweep of the system.

I'm also current on all Windows Updates.

If you've checked the event logs for errors, and haven't been able to pin them down to a single application, give the system a thorough test (hard drive and RAM extended test) with the Dell diagnostics.
