Memory Problems "Again"

I have done all the start-up removal of the programs. My problem is with RealPlayer, everytime I try to play an audio I get the Out of Memory message. I beleive the problem may be with RealPlayer, any suggestions? Has anyone had this problem before. I have used RealPlayer on an older computer before and never had any problems. Just with this Dell that is only 2 weeks old.

ddh;

I realize this is a pain in the derriere, but I think I'd lean towards uninstalling and re-installing, and making sure all unnecessary programs were closed during the re-install, and that your anti-virus protection is disabled...it's worked for more than one user.

Good Luck!

Also check in Real Player as to how much of a file it buffers before play. One setting will buffer the entire clip before playing. Perhaps this setting should be changed in your circumstances to less than 100% buffering.

I'm sure Dan B.'s advice is more than adequate as well....I'm just too thick to figure it out! ;-)
