This is the type of memory you need:
non-ECC SDRAM 100 MHz 168-pin modules
Your computer handles a max of 512MB of ram. If you are unsure about the ram to buy give dell a call and buy some from there sales team.

Hi,
That RAM is not for your system.
Crucial sells the exact memory for your system with a lifetime warrant for much less than Dell.
Definately check out places like Crucial or Kingston. They have excellent memory configurators that tell you exactly what you need for your machine and direct you to authorized resellers. You may not like their prices, but you can take that information and shop around on places like pricegrabber.com

Here are your systems memory specs -
http://docs.us.dell.com/docs/systems/dmum/specs.htm#memory
Lots of the cheaper RAM on the market will not work in a Dell.
