Memory Upgrade for Internet Use

We have several Lxxr that have 64 SDRAM. We use them for highspeed internet access. I am considering upgrading the memory. Is there any point of diminishing return for memory upgrade? Will additional memory even enhance the internet experience?

Thanks for your advice,

Kelly

Unless you handle large graphic files like Photoshop or CAD, 256MB will give optimal performance.

Hi,

If you only use office and Win95 or Win98, 128MB will be a good amount of RAM. If you use many open windows at one time or use Win ME or WinXP 256MB is the minimun amount of RAM you need.
If you edit digital pictures or video you want all the memory you can get.
The memory picker at my site will point you to the 'exact' RAM for your Lxxr system. Crucial sells the very same RAM that Dell installs and sells, but at much lower prices.
