Microphone

I don't think the microphone come installed anywhere, don't they just come in the box (if you get one) and you plug it in to the comp?

your computer may have came with a little black microphone. i found mine in my box a while after i set up my computer.

If you get a "voice/data/fax" modem usually there is one provided.  If you only get a "fax/data" modem then usually there isn't any. 

The mic's that do come with new PC's are the very inexpensive type, so if you didn't get one you aren't really out much.
