Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0
am wanting to update drivers to my ati card. Amd's web site says it is better to install both video drivers and catalyst drivers at the same time (larger single download). In the release notes it says to make sure that Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 is installed. I searched this forum and found a post that suggests that this version comes with Vista. If I'm not mistaken it also says that it may come with version 3. Does anyone else know about this? If so could you reply so I can find the proper driver for my card. Thank you.

Download from Microsoft, open Internet Explorer, click on tools, select windows update and the site will examine your system for critical and custom updates. I generally install all the critical updates then go back and select custom, only taking the ones you need from the custom listing and I don't advise you take anything under the hardware selection unless you are having a problem with the specific hardware the update is for.
.NET comes in three version 1.0, 2.0 and now it is up to 3.x along with service updates. Keep installing until no more updates are offered for .NET. You may have to install an older version first to get the update to correctly install the newer version.
Cheers, Dave
