Monitor E771????

Hi,
I have a new Monitor...E771.....
Everytime I turn on the Computer the first time
in the morning, I heard a creakling sounds.....
It kind of sound like static, it is not static though....
I was just wondering if I have it set wrong and is
there a way I can change the settings?..
Thanks....

Hi,

No, some monitors just sound that way.
Unless you have some other problem with it you're fine.

Thats quite normal for it to sound that way when you first turn it on. Happens to me once in a while. It sounds more like an old spring..lol

i have a 1.7ghz 8100, and e771 monitor makes that big crunching sound everytime i turn it on. Everything seems to work fine, but the sound is slightly worrying considering none of the 10 or so monitors i have had ever made such a loud sound when u turn them on....
but i haven't had any probs with it so far, and it's reassuring to know that it isn't just happening to me :)
