Right click on the desktop and select properties. On the next screen select Settings and on that screen move the slider in the lower left corner to the righ as far as it will go and click apply. If that makes the fonts, etc. too small move the slider back to the left a notch or two.

Thanks tried that, but It won't allow me to move the resolution bar in settings? My browser is windows explorer 7.

Did you reinstall the graphics driver after you reinstalled the OS? You need to do this if you did not.
