HERE is the Monitor forum section.  Best to post the monitor question there. 

 

Be sure to include what Video card you are using, along with the PC Model Number and Operating System.

Offhand I'd say you somehow got the color temperature set to 'warm', 3200K.  You probably want something closer to daylight, 5200K.  The setting may be on the display itself, or on Control Panel/Display in Windows.  Alternately R-click the desktop, Properties/Display.

 

Or as above, repost on Monitor board.

Sorry for posting in the wrong forums. Thanks for the link though.

 

I managed to solve my problem by adjusting the monitor's colour profile. Instead of setting it on the default monitor's (1905FP) I kept trying other profiles available on its list until my brownscale went back to grayscale. I do hope that this doesn't affect anything else with my computer by using another colour profile.
