More problems with Dell ***
Well if you saw my post yesterday, where I spent 4 hours with no results trying to remove the back of the computer, Itr now is causing more issues. Last night I downloaded the drivers for my 2 Graphics cards and my Surround Sound Audio Card, I installed them, now my two screens work, but it needs tweaking. Today I wake up, turn the computer on and it will recognize and keyboards, either by USB or that little round connector you plug keyboards into. Nothing, Nada. It goes through the Bios screen, hitting F2 or F12 does nothing Next screen says Phoenix and a sentence across the top of the screen. Mid it says failer of some drive, and at the bottom, it gives you the option to choose either F1 to to continue or F2 fro options. Hitting either of those keys does nothing, the only thing I heard is when restarting it once and continually hitting F12, when it started to change screens, I heard 1 beep

You did not say what model. You did not say what OS. Given this has PS2 ports the system is likely not under warranty. Cmos battery change is required for booting on some models.

[Admin NOTE: Service tag removed per TOU policy]
[Admin NOTE: Express service code removed per TOU policy]
Those are my dell numbers I screamed at a Dell phone person who wanted those numbers and said they were on a tag. You know where I found them, behind the cover for the card reader, the last place anyone would look.

I have made the decison now to rip out the Motherboard and Power supply of this about 1996 Dell XPS, put a Gigabyte Motherboard in and a 900 watt power supply, screw Dell equipment, there is better stuff out there. I have already changed out both DVD drives, as the one that were in this were a CD drive and a DVD drive, the drive I have are better and both DVD drives. This XPS case is a nice stainless steel case is nice, but what is in it is junk. I will reinstall on the new motherboard my 2 Graphics Cards, my IEEE 1394 (if needed) and my Surround Sound Audio Card. I intend to purchase one of these cards - www.ebay.com/.../112186125676
I am buying this card so as to run a 4 disk Raid and use the SATA ports on the Motherboard for DVD drives only
Screw Dell Junk and Windows 10

1996 XPS GEN1 GEN2 GEN3 has totally proprietary power supply and everything else. So this wouldnt actually be worth while or work due to the power supply not being 80 percent efficient PFC Haswell Ready.
