Mouse and keyboard problems.

I just got a new XPS H2C SY system and am haveing trouble with the keyboard and mouse functions in some games. It is just a generic Dell mouse and keyboard.

 

I loaded Supreme Commander and the zoom function does not work with the mouse wheel. This appears to be a problem with the mouse driver rather than the game since it does not work as expected in windows either. For example in the add remove programs window it will not scroll the list. It will scroll most other screens. Also the speed control with the +/- keys on the keyboard does not work.

 

I changed to an lx 710 logitech mouse and keyboard but that did not help until I installed the logitech driver. Now the zoom function works fine. But the speed control with the +/- buttons still does not work.

 

Is there an issue with the drivers for the mouse and keyboard on the XPS H2C system?
