Mouse freezes

I have a new Inspiron 530 with Vista Home Premium.  I have been having problems with my Logitech wireless optical mouse (its a couple of years old).  It has been freezing up occasionally.  It always seems to happen when the computer has gone into hibernation/sleep, but doesn't happen every time.  Sometimes I can reset it and get it to reconnect, but most of the time I need to reboot.  Once rebooting didn't work initially and I also had to reset it.  It's using a generic driver as their isn't a specific Vista driver available for it.

Any recommendations on how to problem solve this?

Check around the logitech and other websites.. there should be a vista driver somewhere or other. Try the mouse on a different computer (xp) and see if it actually is the mouse. cheers!
