it but it was so much eaiser. this windows stuff is for tech heads.
i never one had a problem with ms dos. get windows and wind up staying
up all night reading books on how to solve problems which go on forever.
how about one day someoen invent a computer that regular people like
me can actually learn and use. my webtv is never leaving me

Yes it could have been upgraded for 32 or 64 bit PCs but MS realized it was not worth the effort.
If you have a serious use of a PC you can’t beat the Windows/MAC interface.
If you write programs for DOS, you often spend the first day just writing the user interface. Using Windows, that task takes about half of an hour!
I bought my first PC before MS-DOS was invented. There is absolutely nothing dos can do that can’t be done better & faster in Windows.
