My Connection
Any one know how to change the user name in the my connection icon for the internet and make it sick along with the password the box to check is gray and i cant figure out how to get it to lite up any help would be apperciated

In order for Windows to save your password, you must have Client for Microsoft Networks installed as a network protocol. Go to Start|Settings|Control Panel. Double-click "Network" and if it isn' t listed on the Configuration tab, add it.
If you have that installed and still can't get Dial Up Networking to save your password, the password file may be corrupted. Go here for instructions on how to rebuild the password file.
