Need NVIDIA graphics chip...

Yes, I bought Final Fantasy XI.  With a newer computer, I figured I was safe.  Well, it turns out I'm not.  I cannot get it to run due to some TnL error...which I looked up, and to my absolute horror found that I needed to purchase a graphics card to get the stupid thing to run (as if I didn't shell out enough money for this game).  Does anyone....ANYONE know what version of this graphics card I need to get so I don't end up wasting the money I've spent for online registration any further than I already have?

And also, where can I purchase one?  Do I need someone to install it for me (if it requires more than sticking a CD in the CD-rom, then the answer to that would be "yes")?

Here is some system info if it helps any (I swiped it directly from my PlayOnline Viewer Config window):

Lots of info; but which model Dell do you have?

LOL....that would be just like me....to forget the most obvious.  It's a Dell Dimension 2400

Oh, lord...

Forget it.  I will just buy the FFXI PS2 that comes out, like, next week.  It will probably save me time and money.  The things I do for Final Fantasy, I tell you.

Thanks, anyway.

2400 is limited to PCI cards !!

the probelm you have is that you have an onboard video controller!! so you have to get a PCI vid card since 2400 doesnt have an AGP slot!! :(

you can search for radeon 9100PCI but the graphics will still be choppy. if you just bought the 2400 i suggest you to return it or call dell to upgrade your mobo to a 4600 mobo which has an AGP slot!!
