"no disk" error

My computer will not recognize a disk either to run or save to.  Any ideas?

Place the memory stick/key in a USB port, check "My Computer" and the key should be listed and assigned a drive number.    Then right click the file you want to save and select the "Send To" menu, click the number of the key that should be shown and download the file to the key.

Just ran thru XP network wizard to set up home network. At end of setup option to make copy of wizard was offered but got error stating no floppy disk drive was detected. Is there a way to copy to memory stick?

Smurfy,

As far as I know, the Network Wizard will not write to USB drives.

There is a new Wireless Networking Wizard in SP2 that will, if you are setting up a wireless network, use that.

You don't really need to create the floppy. The floppy is only required if you have other machines on your home network that are not on Windows XP. Even then, you should be able to get the older machines on without the floppy -- just run the wizard from the control panel on the older machines, screens are a little different but if you keep the same network name you ought to be all right.
