Operating system disk
Hi all. I have an alien ware x51 Andromeda 2012 and recently I got hit by a virus that took less than 5 minutes to take over my computer and thus I need to replace the hard drive.
In the past I had done a reformat via the boot menu but the hard drive is no longer usable and I have no Operating system disk for my Windows 7.
How do I go about getting a copy of one from my original purchase? Can I still do that?
I prefer not to purchase a new operating system if not necessary.

I may have no luck as my system is almost 3 years old.
