Optiplex 580 CPU Support

Hi,

Is it possible to use different CPU's in the Optiplex 580 then stated in the PDF file from Dell? AM3+ CPU's like FX-4300 should work in AM3 motherboards (I know it's different by Dell, Asus, HP because of BIOS updates).

So it it possible to use other AM3(+) CPU's?

FX-4300 is a 95W unit.

Regardless the machine will not boot and it power on with an amber light.

I tried it:
