Optiplex 9020 Ultra small form factor - Win 7 Network corruption question
Hello,
I bought last month an Optiplex 9020 Ultra small form factor and am having trouble connecting to the Internet through the Network and Sharing Center. My computer is showing TWO networks. I've attached screen shots to help. I've completely wiped the drive twice, in two different ways, but after re-installation the network is still messed up. I'm trying now to download the drivers separately from Dell but am not sure I'll be able to on another computer although I'm logged in on Dell support.
Is it possible to just DELETE, under the Change Adapter Settings, the "Local Area Connection"? Would it then install a new one? I had RENAMED the Network two or three weeks ago when for some reason the system offered me a popup to do so. I thought it would add a level of security, but it seems now to be blocking my connection to the Internet.
Or Can I delete the Network adapter under the Device Manager? ...Intel Ethernet Connection I217-LM? ...to reinstall and start over?
Thanks for your help. ...I'm really at a loss for what to do.

This Dell support site for downloading a new copy of the Network drivers just failed, probably because I'm trying to download to another computer, because I can't connect with my Dell Optiplex!
Any suggestions?
