Optiplex 990 PCI Serial Driver

We just received a new Optiplex 990 and due to a configuration issue we had to reinstall the O/S  After the install we can't seem to find a driver for the PCI Serial Port (yea we are still using the serial port!).  If any one has a link to the specific driver it would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Randy

I was having the same issue with the PCI Serial Port not installing correctly, but the suggestion posted above did not work.  Here is what did work for me:  I downloaded and installed the Intel Unified AMT 7 Management Interface Driver which can be found under the chipset downloads for the Optiplex 990.  This should be the link:

The driver I reference is for an ADDON pci card not the INTEL HECI AMT SOL.

Serial Over Lan is the VPRO  Chipset software.

You can easily tell the Difference if the Hardware ID vendor is INTEL and not something else. Aka 8086 VID.

Thx DNalger.

This was the answer to my Win 8.1 64bit install on my Optiplex 990, not the previous suggestion.  I downloaded the correct AMT 7 management interface driver for the box and rather than allow it to auto install I just extracted the files to a folder THEN I went to device manager and updated the driver manually by pointing the update to the extract folder.   Worked like a charm.

done.
