Depends on the system.. on the 700,710,720,630 the answer is no as Dell allows that

On any other system since it is not built into the bios the answer would be yes.

need more info, like what PC you have, CPU, and such, list your components.

 

If you have a Extreme CPU, the OC feature is unlocked and supported and warranted by Dell in their BIOS.  If you have a locked CPU (Non-Extreme) hard to tell, I am 99% certain that if you have a mishap due to OCing, Dell will not warranty it.

I agree with MoneyGuy.  The Dell warranty states only that failures of the system resulting from unsupported operation (e.g. overclocking or installing your own hardware) are not covered.  It certainly does not state that if you overclock and your CD drive fails, that the CD is not covered.  It doesn't even say that if you overclock and the CPU fails, that the CPU is not covered.  The CPU would only not be covered if the damage were caused by the overclocking.  Just like installing your own RAM only voids the warranty if the installation caused the failure.
