pci mass storage controller
read the message and the solution to jerr's proble with pci mass storage ocontroller. i did exactly as he was prompted to do but wiht no luck. when i tried to load the driver it could not recognize. please help.

You have to keep in mind that many first time visitors here don't fully understand what DellTalk is all about. Many come here with the idea that the forums are continually monitored by Dell Techs while others have the mistaken idea that it's more like a chat room. For a new user that just shelled out a few $$$ for a computer that doesn't work, an unanswered question in a support forum only adds to the frustration.
