With your mouse right click on the Icon that you are talking about then bring up Properties and see if it can find the target program. If it still points to the older version then you can go to the Desktop and again using the right mouse button click on the Desktop and New and Shortcut this is where you will browse for the new Outlook Express or the other program. Another method is go to the Directory the program you want on the Desktop and using our friend the right mouse button click then make shortcut and then drag the shortcut to the Desktop. There are lot's of ways........

Near the top of the screen, click onHelp, then click about int...exp... the screen will tell you if Ver 6.... loaded. The other things will remain, I think mine did??
