printer cartridges

There is a difference in the construction of Color cartridges and Photo color cartridges. The Photo cartridge will not seat in the holder. I cannot get this message to Dell. I would like to send them email. Dell AIO 922 printer. Any suggestions?

Have you checked the special forum section for Dell branded printers?  If not, check this section  http://forums.us.dell.com/supportforums/board?board.id=A940

See if your question has been asked before.  If not repost there.

I had a Lexmark (who makes Dell's) and the cartridges were physically the same.  If you can't install it then it may be a bad cartridge or the wrong model cartridge.

ADDED: You must use Dell branded cartridges, even tho the Lexmark cartridges are physically identical.

Thanks Fireburd. I found the answer to my problem. I should have taken the Black cartridge out and put the Photo in it's place. Using both Color and Photo color to print color pictures. The Photo cartridge fit the holder exactly that the black cartridge usually uses. I learn something everyday. Thanks for the come back
