problem installing video card

Trying to install PNY GeForce 5200 graphics on Dimension 3000.  Disabled Intel graphics.  When we put in driver CD, an error message came up stating something about demo.exe, but my son clicked it off before I could read it and it doesn't come back when we try the CD again.  The installation "picture" if you will, comes up(looks like an animated piece of metal with bolts) but no wording shows up and we can't click on anything.

Would anyone know the cause and fix for this?  It's a PCI card, he has the 256 version of 5200 and he has 512 RAM on his computer.
