Problem with McAfee

Hi,

I recently purchased an XPS T700r which came loaded with the McAfee antivirus I discovered that I liked McAfee better than Norton so I decided to load it onto the other machines on my network. It worked fine on 3 of my computers but one of them (the first one I loaded) won't let me update to the latest version of McAfee without purchasing the program from McAfee first. When I click on the "virus scan central" icon of three of my computers I get a screen that says "scan" or "update". When I click on update it takes me right to the McAfee site where I am able to download the latest version of McAfee and the most recent .dat files. However, this one machine comes up with a screen that says "scan" or "purchase" (instead of "update"). I've uninstalled any remaining Symantic or Norton programs and have deleted their folders (even from the recycle bin). I've uninstalled McAfee and deleted the Network Associates folder in the "affected machine" and reinstalled it. I keep getting the "purchase" screen. Am I doing something wrong? Is it illegal to put the program on another machine?

Please help.

Thanks,
Roger
