Problems Dell 8200

Greetings:

I have been working with a Dell 8200 that was destined for the landfill.  I had great hopes of being able to rescue the box, power supply and CPU w/fan, if nothing else.... and having a modern AXT computer.

The computer runs great, for 15 minutes or 15 hours.  But it goes down and the LED code on rear apron indicates a problem with the RAM.  It is suggested that I reseat the RAM and if that fails, contact Dell.  Uh-huh.

I pulled the RAM, wiped the contacts with a cloth soaked in contact cleaner and reseat the two sticks of RAM, 3 times.  Ditto with the two dummy sticks.  Same result.  15 minutes after reboot..... or more.... Unit goes down.    No signal to the monitor as indicated by an orange light on the monitor.  Screen is black.  No HDD activity.

I have tried the Spongebob website several times and can't get in.

Any suggestions here good people??

Allen
