Process keeps dumping me.

Question

I recently contracted a virus that befuddled me with redirects on the net and over taking my entire ability to web surf.  After finding useful solutions on the web (adaware) spybot mcafee. the computer runs fine .  Unfortunately though - prolonged use of the web or operating system -- it crashes and i get the blue screen and the cpu dumps. I get through 5 site hits  or use my operating system for more than 10 minutes and the blue screen appears - the system locks down and i must unplug.   THis leads me to believe there is there is still something effecting my performance. I went on safe mode and disabled all non essential startup apps. I have run out of options and my computer is not running at 100% any other suggestions would be great.

This is a software problem not a hardware problem. You should post this to the software board for the version of windows that you have installed on the system. What version of windows do you have installed on this system and what system do you have?

I would just reformat the hard drive and reinstall the OS myself and start a clean slate. Jth
