Processor Upgrade?

I Bought A New Computer, A Dell Inspiron 560.

And It Has A Intel Pentium @ 3200MHz Processor In It.

(Type :    Intel Pentium
Internal Specification :    Pentium(R) Dual-Core  CPU      E5800  @ 3.20GHz )

I Was Trying To Play A Game, And Its Verrrrrry Laggy.

I Have Another Processor That Was In My Old Dell Which Is An AMD Athlon 64 X2 5800+ Brisbane 3.0GHz

I Assume My Old Processor Is Better, So Am I Able To Switch Them And Put The AMD In My New Computer?

Thanks!

No, the AMD processor is not compatible, it requires a different motherboard.

Intel Celeron
Intel Pentium Dual Core
Intel Core 2 Duo
Intel Core2 Quad

The following are compatible :-

Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 (4M Cache)
Intel Core 2 Duo E7500
Q9400 2.66 GHz Core 2 Quad Processor
Pentium Dual-Core E5400 2.7 GHz.
Pentium Dual Core E6700 (3.2GHz/1066Mhz FSB/2MB cache)
Intel Pentium Dual Core E5800 (3.2GHz/800Mhz FSB/2MB cache)
Intel Celeron 450 (2.2GHz/800Mhz FSB/0.5MB cache

Prior to installing the processor, check that the latest BIOS version A06, when support for newer processors was added, is installed.

Pentium Dual-Core E5400 2.7 GHz.

Pentium Dual Core E6700 (3.2GHz/1066Mhz FSB/2MB cache)

Intel Pentium Dual Core E5800 (3.2GHz/800Mhz FSB/2MB cache)

These Three Are Around The Same Price, Which One Would Work Best?
