Yes, the 4700 has upgradeable video, using any PCI-x16 video card. Since the system is designed to accommodate a video card, you should not have any power supply issues. I suspect this will solve your freezing problems.

Sorry I accidentally click the enter button near my mouse... Anyways,

I have a problem, I have a dimension 4700 3.4GHZ P4, 160GB HDD, 512MB RAM integrated graphics. It always runs hot, it isn't that bad, but when I run a game or something, it gets so hot it lags out completely, and sometimes it completely freezes. Any help or suggestions?

Also, I want to upgrade my graphics, but I don't know how many watts my PSU is, and I need to know. How do I find out? Also, can I put in a new graphics card?

Thanks

Why do you think it's running too hot?

You have a 305W power supply and can find your system's spec's by clicking on Product Support at the top of the forum. The video card you are looking at is PCI. You need a PCI-Express card. A good card to look at is the GeForce 6600GT.
