Question

I tried to use PC2700 in my Dem. 2350, thinking it would downclock like any other normal RAM. Instead, it decides to give me every error from hanging in the 'Dell' screen to BSOD(Blue Screen Of Death). Would a simple BIOS update resolves this problem, or has Dell disabled the ability to download RAM?

Dell does not provide the ability to tweak memory setting from bios at all.
