I suggest running ZZTOP. It completely restores your computer to factory settings just like when it was first delivered. Backup your stuff and go to command prompt. Then type in ZZTOP. If it doesn't work, then it means that the secret ghost partition was mistakenly deleted. A Dell tech representative once told me that it could be caused by defragmenting on a frequent basis.

Max,. Ram Wme will support is only 512mb and not 1024mb, if you need to use 1024mb then you will need install a new Operating System, such as XP

Try use only 512 for testing or upgrade it do Windows XP or Windows 2000.
