It would be helpful to know which verison of Windows you are running. Try disabling System Restore, rebooting, then re-enabling System Restore (note that doing this will result in the loss of all previous restore points). If you don't want to try this, then post the version of Windows you are running and someone may be able to suggest other steps.

That was the last restore point, was in March.
I went to my virus site updated everything. So, my virus protection is back to normal, thank goodness! I did lose some stuff on my favorites list, but oh well. I can get them back.

Thanks for all the help!!

The first question I have is, why restore to march? Where there anymore restore points to choose from?

What anti virus app. do you have? You may have to reinstall it if you didn't disable it before the restore.

Post back with more info.

If I were you, I would create a restore point now while the system is running o.k.

That will give you a point to return to in the event your system goes haywire.

Good luck
