Return or Refuse? And PCI-E Question
Well, after contacting Dell my computer is in "transit" which is a term for "waiting for Fed-Ex to pick it up". Anyway, I was told on the phone I'd have 30 days to return it, un-opened of course. Problem is there is the 15% restocking fee (around 80 bucks), which I'm sure is taken out if I refuse and/or I return it. So, which do you all think is easier?
Second question, If I decide to keep it, will the Vostro Slim 200 take normal PCI-E cards, meaning normal size? If so, I'll probably keep the system as another website says that with my system specs that I need around 190 watts of power, with the 7600gt, leaving me 20-30 watts of headroom under load.
I wish I had known more about the Slim's lack of upgradability but I guess that's what I get for being impulsive. Although there is a way to get around the propritary PSU, there are adaptors for the MB that are like $15 bucks, so that may be an option yet. If I buy the adaptor, will another PSU (micro of course) fit in the slot or is it special too?

No, the slim case won't take full size cards.
The power supply is also proprietary.

If you refuse delivery, the sale is cancelled and you should get a full refund.
If you accept, you have 21 days to return it, opened or not. If the reason is "I don't want it", you pay restocking plus shipping. If the reason is "it's defective" or "it's not the product I ordered", there is no charge or fee. The 'customer care' number handles returns/refunds, NOT the tech support number, and within the 21 days you are not obligated to troubleshoot or accept repair attempts, though they will try to steer you in that direction.

Any one else know if a refused shipment gets a full refund? If so, I'll go that route as the money should be refunded before the money is due on my CC (Sept 1st most likely). The low profile cards are few in selection and about the best I could get is the 8600gt which is a mid-range card at best.
